Winning VS Losing Combinations
Did you know that after each EuroJackpot draw, there will be exactly:
Winning Combinations: 34,713,363 (25%)
Losing Combinations: 129,800,244 (75%)
Winning Probability Calculations
In the EuroJackpot, you have to pick 5 numbers from 1 to 50 and 2 Euro Numbers from 1 to 12. To win the smallest prize, you need to match either 2 main numbers and 1 Euro Number, 1 main number and 2 Euro Numbers, or 3 main numbers and no Euro Numbers. The number of combinations that will always win any prize after each draw is calculated as follows:
Total Number of Combinations
The total number of ways to choose 5 main numbers from 50 and 2 Euro Numbers from 12 is given by:
\( \binom{50}{5} \times \binom{12}{2} = \frac{50!}{5!(50-5)!} \times \frac{12!}{2!(12-2)!} = 2,118,760 \times 66 = 139,838,160 \)
Non-Winning Combinations
To find out how many combinations do not win any prize, we calculate the number of ways to match fewer than 3 main numbers or 1 main number and 2 Euro Numbers:
Matching 0 Main Numbers
The number of ways to pick 5 main numbers from the remaining 45 and 2 Euro Numbers from 12 is:
\( \binom{45}{5} \times \binom{12}{2} = 1,221,759 \times 66 = 80,637,114 \)
Matching 0 Main Numbers and 1 Euro Number
The number of ways to pick 5 main numbers from the remaining 45 and 1 Euro Number from 12 is:
\( \binom{45}{5} \times \binom{12}{1} = 1,221,759 \times 12 = 14,661,108 \)
Matching Exactly 1 Main Number
The number of ways to pick 1 correct main number and 4 numbers from the remaining 45, and 0 or 1 Euro Number(s) from 12 is:
\( \binom{5}{1} \times \binom{45}{4} \times \binom{12}{0} = 5 \times 148,995 \times 1 = 744,975 \)
\( \binom{5}{1} \times \binom{45}{4} \times \binom{12}{1} = 5 \times 148,995 \times 12 = 8,939,700 \)
Matching Exactly 2 Main Numbers without the Euro Number
The number of ways to pick 2 correct main numbers and 3 numbers from the remaining 45, and 0 Euro Numbers from 12 is:
\( \binom{5}{2} \times \binom{45}{3} \times \binom{12}{0} = 10 \times 14,190 \times 1 = 141,900 \)
Total Non-Winning Combinations
Summing up all these non-winning combinations:
\( 80,637,114 + 14,661,108 + 744,975 + 8,939,700 + 141,900 = 105,124,797 \)
Winning Combinations
The number of winning combinations is given by:
\( \text{Total Combinations} - \text{Non-Winning Combinations} = 139,838,160 - 105,124,797 = 34,713,363 \)
Therefore, there are 34,713,363 combinations that will always win any prize after each draw in the EuroJackpot.
So that means, 75% of all possible EuroJackpot combinations will not win a prize after each draw and only 25% of combinations will always win a prize.
With our system, you will be able to play the winning 25% EuroJackpot combinations frequently.
